How does the application approval work?
Applications are submitted 100% digitally directly to Spanish Immigration offices. After submission, the government issues a resolution containing your NIE and permission to legally live and work in Spain for 1 year.
With this legal status, you may work as an employed worker or self-employed entrepreneur. After one year, the process transitions to permanent or standard residence authorizations depending on your activity.
